CHINATOWN, SINGAPORE.
Around 4 days ago on the 30th of December 2012, my family and I went to Chinatown!
The air was fresh, weather cool, waiting for us to do the perfect things together.
On the way there, we spotted this cool building up ahead! It may seem ordinary to you here, but when you see the bottom part of the building, it's pretty cool! Pity I didn't take a shot of that :/
In the carpark on the way to the mall itself, there were beautifully lighted escalators! Just a few rows of spot lights could actually make it look so classy!
Directory of Chinatown Point
The newly renovated Chinatown Point looks extremely fabulous. It looked so much different from before! From a totally middle-class feeling, to a high-class mall! Especially with the carpeted floor to boost it up!
The gorgeous ceiling hasn't changed :)
So my dad was like, "Yeap yi, come, Daddy show you something"
And I looked down to the ground floor and almost immediately, I know what he was talking about! It was the bright colored rainbow dress! This was sold at 39 bucks, and my aunt bought it at 50+ or something... hahaha!
Chinatown Point from the outside. It's one of my favourite malls of all time!
Then we crossed the road and strolled by Chinatown's known streets.
Almost ate at Yum Cha! But the queue was way long and the food is a little too expensive too.
So we ate here instead! I forgot the name though, but we went there to eat dim sum! It was just a few shops away from the well-knowned $10 karaoke!
With the olden cupboards and decorations, the place made us felt as if we returned to the nineties!
The specialty dish they claimed, the "Nai Huang Bao" (I think is the custard bun), tasted great!
Other dim sum such as Siew mai, was great. I haven't tasted such Siew mai in Singapore before! I mean, it's just different :)
This wasn't very nice... It tasted weird.... :/
Okay here's a joke(comic) by my bro. HAHA.
Mmm yumm, this is good...
Wait.
This... could it have been...
POISONED??!!
Nahh, not possible..!
END OF COMIC HAHA.
Chinatown shops!
Bought this pair of shorts there! It was only 10 bucks omg.
I think this is Lucky Chinatown Mall if I'm not wrong.. Forgot the name..
Cheese!
And guess where we went to... KARAOKE AT K-BOX AT THE TOP FLOOR! WOOH
OPPA GANGNAM STYLE! (P.S. I just like how catchy the song is, nothing towards those gangnam style anti-fans okay!!)
End of the 3 hour karaoke session, heading down~
Saw Alienware on the way down by the way! SUPER COOL.
The karaoke room was cold, so my camera lens were like, BRR!
People's Park!
OG at People's Park haha.
Back to Chinatown Point, THE GIGANTIC SCREEN WAS PLAYING SHINEE'S LIVE STAGE PERFORMANCE FOR STRANGER!!!! OMG I STOOD THERE AND STARED AT IT HAHA.
We covered the mall only to find these playgrounds for kids... Nowhere to eat..?? TvT
Ah, finally! Some place to eat! And yea, my bro's face. HAHA.
Dad's share came first.
Then mine!
Yes, the Si Ji Dou! I don't know what it's called in English LOL..
Dumplings~
Bro's Ma La Ramen!! He ate halfway and couldn't continue cus it was so spicy, no kidding.
Afterwards, we proceeded to leave. And I took this chance to snap some photos of our car teehee. Cus dad changed the sport rims not long ago!
I love my car, seriously.
Okay, end~! Will update again soon! Goodbye and have a happy new year ahead :D
